2 | WHAT PRODUCTS CAN YOU RETURN? | |||
2. | 1 | You bought incorrect products via the online webshop. | ||
2. | 2 | You bought incorrect products at a MegaBuild Branch or discover at home or place of use that the product is not aligned with the requirement. | ||

2. | 4 | The product purchase is within the manufacturer’s warranty. | ||
2. | 5 | If you receive an incorrect or incomplete order. | ||

3 | RETURNS POLICY | |||
3. | 1 | Returns will be processed in the MegaBuild branch from which the products were purchased. | ||
3. | 2 | Incorrect products bought via the online webshop or at a MegaBuild Branch or Customer change of requirements. | ||
3. | 2. | 1 | The products can only be returned to a MegaBuild branch the products were physically collected from or delivered from. | |
3. | 2. | 2 | The product was not used or in a good resalable condition. | |
3. | 2. | 3 | The product must be returned in its original condition, as received, and remains in its original packaging. | |
3. | 2. | 4 | The original proof of purchase (Tax invoice) must be presented with the products to the MegaBuild Branch from which products were bought, reflecting the branch detail, date, amount paid and document reference numbers. | |
3. | 2. | 5 | If original proof of purchase is not presented, it is possible to find the relevant document, but this will increase the time it takes to refund you. | |
3. | 2. | 6 | Goods must be returned within 7 days of collection or delivery of products; it is in the sole discretion of the MegaBuild Branch Manager if an extension of time is allowed. | |
3. | 2. | 7 | Products that are cut to measure, specially ordered for you, any items customised to your requirements or paint products tinted to your requirements cannot be returned, unless these items are materially defective. | |
3. | 2. | 8 | A handling fee of up to 10% of the product's value may be charged on refund. | |
3. | 2. | 9 | Delivery or collection fee will be deducted if MegaBuild incurred cost to collect or deliver the products returned and replaced. | |
3. | 3 | In case of a defect or faulty or damaged product or incomplete product, Megabuild and its suppliers reserve the right to inspect the item initially. | ||
3. | 3. | 1 | Any claims must be recorded in writing and lodged with the SUPPLIER not later than seven (7) days from date of delivery or collection or discovery. Failure to comply with the provisions of this clause will render claims null and void. | |

3. | 3. | 3 | If you return a defective Product we will gladly replace, refund or repair the Product according to the terms and conditions of the warranty or the product supplier’s conditions related to the specific product returned. | |

3. | 4. | 1 | Please note that unfortunately no claim will exist if any fault/defects with products that were caused by: | |

3. | 4. | 1. | 3 | Use for a purpose other than the purpose for which the product was manufactured. |

3. | 4. | 1. | 5 | Accidental and/ or negligent damage after you take possession of the product. |

If none of the above apply, and the product is faulty, or breaks, visit your nearest store or call the Contact Centre for further support. If you prefer that product is transported back to the Branch, MegaBuild will not be held liable for any damages incurred whilst in transit. For large, bulky or installed products, MegaBuild requires an on-site assessment. Once the request is logged, we will send a representative to assess the product |

4 | REFUND POLICY | |||
4. | 1 | If you change your mind about your purchase and the products are not defective, the undesired products may be returned to us at your cost for a refund as per returns policy. | ||
4. | 2 | In case a different colour or similar product is required to replace original product purchased an exchange will be processed and if product more expensive a additional amount must be paid or if product is less a refund will be processed, subject to handling fee as stipulated below. | ||
4. | 3 | How will my money be reimbursed? | ||
4. | 3. | 1 | In the event of a refund, such refund will be processed in cash if below NAD 1000 if preferred or above NAD 1000, EFT to the account used to make the original payment for the products. This is due to security reasons | |
4. | 3. | 2 | An EFT refund can take up to seven (7) business days before it reflects in your account subject to the amount, commercial banker and turnaround time to verify the bank account. | |
4. | 3. | 3 | If we refund you via an EFT, we may request verification of your bank account details to ensure the correct person or entity is re-imbursed. | |
4. | 3. | 4 | Refunds applicable to online transactions within Namibia will be as follows: | |

4. | 3. | 4. | 2 | a back to card refund typically reflects within 3 working days on your account, however it may take up to 14 working days for your bank to process the refund and reflect in your account. |
